HOW TO MAKE MY OWN PED LAYOUT !!! STEP BY STEP.
1. MAKE YOUR OWN LOGO FOR PEDIGREE
A loft logo is a simple and powerful way to help customers recognize your loft and add a professional touch to your printed pedigrees.
Prepare a photo of your logo in the following size width 160 pixels x height 150 pixels. If the photo is large then resize it to the right size as on the pedigree it will be automatically changed into smaller and it might change its quality.
Use any program for editing graphics to create your own logo. It has yo be saved in JPG format, the program will not let
you save it in any other format. Remember always to save JPG files with best quality then your logo will have the best quality.
As a logo you can use photos of your pigeons or your loft that will be seen on the pedigree.
If you have prepared your logo in size 160 x 150 pixels, save it in a folder in which you've got your PLO program
installed. Example: C:\PLO. After saving your logo in the appropriate folder with PLO program, run PLO, open Pedigree
window and press Logo button. Then choose the photo of your logo (C:\PLO\logo.jpg) and press OK button.
Now the photo of your logo will be see on the pedigree. You can check it by clicking Print preview button and you can
print the pedigree with your own logo.
2. MAKE YOUR OWN BOTTOM TEMPLATE
In the bottom part of the pedigree you can add some photos of your pigeons, loft or your own. To prepare your own photo in the
low part of pedigree, you have to place your photos in a graphic file that is available below. If your printer uses A4
paper download and edit EU.jpg file, if you use Letter paper download and edit US.jpg file. Below you can check how to edit your file and add the photos of your birds.
1. Prepare picture of your bird with transparent background.
2. Add bird picture to background.
3. Add next bird picture to background.
4. Add your loft picture.
5. You can add additional text.
6. Save it in a folder in which you've got your PLO program
installed.
7. Run PLO, open Pedigree window and press Birds button and find your template file
8. Select it and click ok.
