Latest PLO updates include
New update of PLO brings plenty of other features, options and code improvements. This includes fixed bug in Pedigree window, When you create a pedigree there could be errors with short ring numbers.
Please note, it is always good practice to make backups of your database before you update.
Download the Pigeon Loft Organizer 4.2.2 updates.
If you have problem downloading updates40.exe, stop your download manager and download updates40.zip file. Unzip it and install.

Downloading and installing the program on a PC with anti-virus software
Some anti-virus tools may prevent the downloading, installation and operation of the program. To avoid this, you may need to configure them appropriately or temporarily disable them altogether.

- Once downloaded, close all programs and then double click on updates40.exe file
- Click update button
- If the updates is complete, close it
- Run PLO

To find out which version of Pigeon Loft Organizer you are using, open Pigeon Loft Organizer, go to the Help menu, and select About. You will see your version number listed on the About screen. If you are using anything earlier than current version, you need to update your software.
If you have problem downloading updates.exe, stop your download manager and download updates.zip file. Unzip it and install.

If you get an error message:"Network initialisation failed. File or directory does not exist. File C:\PDOXUSRS.NET", right-click on Updates icon with your mouse and from the pop-up menu select 'Properties'. From the Properties dialogue, go to the 'Compatibility' tab (left). In the 'Privilege Level' section towards the bottom, click the checkbox labelled "Run this program as an administrator". Then click the OK button. This will now always run the PLO in Administrator mode. As the program starts you will see a pop-up box entitled "User Account Control" - just click "allow" for the program to load successfully.
