HOW TO USE A USB MEMORY STICK

After the purchase of the new version of Pigeon
Loft Organizer program version 4.0 each customer will receive a CD with the
installation program and a USB memory stick with PLO program ready to run.
From the CD the program PLO can be installed in a
traditional way on the hard disc of a computer and can be used on it.
The program on the USB memory
stick does not have to be installed anywhere as this is a version of PLO program
ready to use without any installation. This can be used on any computer. The
user plug in the USB memory stick to USB drive on any computer and is able to
use it immediately. All data that are being saved in the program run from the
USB memory stick are saved in the data base of the USB memory stick.
CAUTION!
There is no backup of data saved on the USB memory stick
that You have received after the purchase. The USB memory stick has got limited
storage so creating backup would cause the lack of possibility to run the
program from the USB memory stick. All backup actions should be done only on
external devices a CDs or other USB memory stick.
As each digital data device can
be damaged or the USB memory stick can be lost by the User, we recommend
installation of the program from the CD on the hard disc of a computer as one
program while having the second one on the USB memory stick. It is allowed to
install the program additionally on a different computer if there is a need for
that.
Data between the program from the hard disc of a computer and the program on the USB
memory stick are being transferred by a function 'DATA BACKUP / RECOVER' from
Data menu as it follows: when You use the program on the hard disc, You create a
data copy on the hard disc and close the program PLO. Now You plug in the USB
memory stick with PLO program to the USB drive on the same computer, You run PLO
program from the USB memory stick, go to Data menu, run the function Recover
Data and You recover the data from the copy that has been earlier saved on the
hard disc.

PLO program You can only save the backgrounds for Your pedigrees as the
backrounds need to exist on the same disc as the program is to avoid searching a
graphic file of the background by the program each time You run it.
The USB memory stick that You
receive after the purchase is compatible with all computers with Windows
systems; it does not work on Android, Mac OS and Linux systems.
